This Privacy Policy describes how SilverLobo LLC ("FurShare," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FurShare website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account, or your email address when you join our waitlist.
• Pet and care plan content: information you choose to add to a care plan, such as pet names, photos, feeding schedules, medications, health and behavior details, routines, and emergency contacts. Care plan content may include information you consider sensitive — you decide what to include.
• Sharing information: when you share a care plan, we process the link you generate and, where applicable, the contact details of people you share it with.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and general usage data (such as pages viewed and features used), collected automatically to operate and improve the Service.
• Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests and feedback.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including creating, storing, and sharing care plans
• Send service communications, such as waitlist and launch updates, account notices, and reminders you enable
• Respond to support requests
• Monitor, debug, and secure the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use the contents of your care plans for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How Care Plan Sharing Works

Care plans are private by default. When you share a care plan link, anyone who has that link can view the plan's contents, and they may be able to save or forward it. Please share links only with people you trust. You can stop sharing at any time using the controls in the Service, but copies others have already made may persist.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, including:

• Firebase (Google LLC): authentication, database, hosting, cloud storage, and analytics
• Apple Push Notification Service: delivering notifications and reminders on iOS

These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information or you will be notified of changes).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may delete your content within the Service or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@silverlobo.org. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable period.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@silverlobo.org. You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, and manage notifications in your device settings.

7. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has happened, please contact us.

9. International Users

We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and provide notice through the Service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
